Overall a pretty good story about why Mr. Sasan teaches. I had no idea he taught for that long of a time and it makes me sad to think that I have a ways to go before I get close to his numbers. For some reason the audio for his interview only comes out of one side of the speakers. The VOs come out through both speakers but the interview only comes out of the left. The interview is shot well though and is evenly lit. Background is a little crooked. B-roll needs work though. Sometimes you leave in the background audio and other times it's completely gone. It's just so very weird to not have any of that b-roll audio in there. Do not do that again. Always include background audio in your b-roll. You may need to adjust it if it overpowers your interview though. Just don't completely throw it out! You definitely needed more b-roll shots and more shots done in sequences. Use cut ins at least! Those are so easy to do that there really is no excuse not to have those in somewhere. B-roll colors are off and bland. You need to pay more attention to your white balancing when you shoot. If you miss it when you film then at least try to fix it in post. Some b-roll shots are not locked down though and move. I really like the way that it ends. You didn't use a closing VO and it's not needed here. You used a great soundbite to close the story and it was refreshing to see it just end there. Nice job. Overall not bad but it should be better. Let's keep working on the areas we struggled with here to make the 2nd qtr project the best it can be! 3 points
