Hey guys! As of now, our CKTV class now runs our school's announcement's completely. That means not only we do the behind the scenes stuff, but we also announce as well. That's right! So, here are three things I am going to do to help contribute into making the announcements the best it could be.
First, our Scripts! If we announce, that means we have to make scripts. At the beginning of the semester, Mr. M assigned us a week that we are assigned to announce. I announce this week. So, Mr. M wants our scripts to be made at least a couple days before we actually announce. We don't want to wait till the last minute. So, to help contribute to the announcements, I will make my scripts ahead of time, which I did this week.
Next, being on time. If you are either an announcer or working behind the scenes, no matter what, you need to be on time. Every job has an important part that helps make the broadcast work efficiently. If everyone is on time for their job, that would help the broadcast to get some practices in before we go live.
Finally, I want to practice multiple times before we go live. I think this is really important because, practice makes perfect. If you watch our broadcast, you'll see the difference of when we practice, and when we don't. Also, because I not comfortable being in front the camera, I need those few practices so I feel more prepared and confident.
To sum it up, here are the three things I hope to achieve to help me make the broadcast the best it could be. Yes, being an announcer adds more work, but it will help us to stay focus and prevent procrastination. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you guys next week!
