Aron here! Today I'm going to talk to you about some of the challenges I had so far during my first weeks of media. Because I am a first year student, I came
My first challenge, is to have a schedule and organize my media work. I have to learn many things like time management, meeting deadlines, and having high quality work in my assignments.
Another challenge, was to schedule and do interviews with my partner Dalson. It was challenging because we had to schedule a specific time and place of where Dalson and I were to meet the interviewee. I felt it was a short notice because the person we wanted to interview could only meet on a specific day. Feeling uncomfortable talking to strangers was a challenge for me.
And last, it was challenging for me to learn about the media equipment. First, I had to check the equipment out from Mr. M, but I wasn't sure what I needed. Dalson was out sick, so it was extra difficult for me to make sure we had everything we need to do the interview. Thanks to Mr. M and other media friends who helped me. We had to see if it worked or not because if it didn't work while we were interviewing it would be a waste of time and we would have to reschedule the interview.
In conclusion, media class is not easy. I faced many challenges and I am slowly learning each day so that I can face the upcoming challenges during the course of this media class.
