OMG guys, I can't believe we left for our STN trip last night! It felt like time flew by so fast! So, yes we left for our trip last night and boy, those airplane rides were forever!!! So, yes we did leave last night, March 8, it was a super long trip getting to Atlanta. Let me tell you about it. So, 7:30 everyone is at the airport excited as a dog getting their treat. But also, saying a goodbye to some family. There were some students who actually is going to the mainland for the first time! So, as excited as can be, we went in and checked all our bags and did a count of our equipment. Finally, after a long wait, we got in our first United Airlines airplane. Now, saying goodbye to Kauai as we take off, we are heading to our first stop to LA. Honestly, I hate plane rides. The headaches, the uncomfortable seating and the really long waiting. Luckily, I got to sit to Shaelyn and Mia T to talk to. Finally, after about a five hour flight, we headed to our next flight. But before that, we took a small breakfast stop. Then we got on a bigger plane than the first one and we were going to Houston. Unfortunately, there were some bad news. Houston had some weather difficulties so we had a delay! A three hour delay! We were kinda fustrated but we couldn't help it so we made the most of our time. Luckily again, I got to sit next to Destrey. In addition, we got to play games on a screen in the chair in front of us. We also watched movies. Me and Destrey played endless games of chess and battleship and watched horror movies like Poltergeist. Then we were off to Houston. After Houston as tired as can be, we did our best to keep it in and last one last flight. In this last plane, I sat by Destrey and Herenui and I slept the whole time just because I hardly had any sleep in the last two. Finally, after these long flights we made it to Atlanta. So exhausted, but we all knew it was worth it. We got our luggage and headed to the Marriot. On our way, I saw the huge cities with lots of hotels and skyscrapers who touch the sky. When we went in the hotel, my mind was blown. The Hotel was huge and very fancy. Also everywhere I look there were thousands of STN students all excited as we were. After settling in our rooms, we ended our day with some delicious Papa John's Pizza. Then we were lights out and ready for Crazy 8's tomorrow. Yeah, we're super busy. But anyways, that was the story of our CKTV crew having an adventure to Atlanta. Be sure to keep tuned to my blogs for daily updates on our awesome trip. That's all the time I got, bye!
