Hey guy! If you didn't know, the new star wars movie recently came out this week and I got to watch it today. So, after the movie I was watching some star wars videos on youtube and found this amazing video. It is two boys who summarize the six star wars movies to lead up to the seventh one. But, they use music and sing the summary of all the six episodes. I thought this video was very interesting and unique so I wanted to show it to you. Here it is!

Hey guys! Have you ever seen on youtube how some youtubers do vlogging or video- blogging. Vlogging is just like doing blogs on your website, but instead you video yourself talking to the camera. I've seen lots of people on youtube do something similar and I think it is a very unique way to blog. Also, our class thought it would be interesting if we did it for our blogs. That's right. Mr. M has asked us if we wanted to do Vlogs for our weekly blog. So, for today's blog I'll talk to you about what I thought would be some of the pros and cons of doing it. I'll also tell you what I personally feel on doing vlogs every week.
First of all, let's start of with pros and how vlogging could benefit us. So, vlogging could benefit us by helping us to practice weekly on our media work. For example, we would have to use a camera every week and actually edit all the clips together. All those things could help improve our editing skills. Also, like I said earlier I've seen many youtubers do this type of vlogging so I think I kinda think I have an idea on what to do. Now, let's talk about some cons. Like we discussed in class, vlogging can lead to some hateful comments, mean words, trolls, and you could just be basically cyber bullied. Just like youtubers, not only the average youtubers get negative comments but also some of the more popular ones as well. Also, vlogging can be very time consuming. For instance, I personally think that vlogging may take a lot of time to put together and may actually take longer than doing our normal blogs. But that's just my opinion. So vlogging can have some cons too. Finally, let me tell you what I personally feel of doing vlogs. So, vlogs could have many pros and cons of doing it but, the answer for me is no, I don't want to do vlogs. Why? Even though vlogs could help improve editing and and help our media skills, I just feel that I don't want to do it. For instance, I think doing vlogs will actually take longer than doing blogs. Also it can also interfere with the other homework we have. In addition, you also have to put your face up on the internet and some people you don't know may be watching it. In conclusion, doing a blog once a week may have its pros and cons, but overall I feel that I don't really feel like doing vlogs because of the many difficulties and risks of doing it. But, that is just my opinion and maybe I don't know it could actually turn out to be fun. Well thats all the time I have. Bye. Hey Everyone! Second Quarter is coming to an end and our 3rd quarter PSA's are coming just around the corner. So, I've been recently thinking of what topic I should do. In the last few days, I brainstormed many ideas of what topic I was going to do and I came up with the top three, which are standing up to bullies, less screen time and more active time, and helping our environment by recycling. Here are three reasons why I thought of doing it.
I chose standing up to bullying because it would be a great help to be a friend and stand up to people who are being bullied or teased to students all over the world. If we can teach others to help them, maybe the people who are bullied would also feel confident to stand up for themselves. People who are bullied feel they are alone and can't help themselves. Now we can change that. With a PSA we can teach others to stand up for others. The second idea I have in mind, is having less screening time and more active time. In my personal experience, my friends and I like to always play video games all day. Computer games, video games, and games on my phone are to name a few. I hope this PSA will teach people the importance of active activities and the cons of playing video games all the time. Third, I was thinking of creating a PSA that teaches everyone the importance of recycling paper, cans, bottles, and cardboards to name a few. Recycling takes a little more effort to do and people are lazy to recycle so it's easier to just throw it away. I would like to teach people to change that too. In conclusion, theses are the topics I thought of doing for my 3rd Quarter PSA and I am probably going to choose one of them over the break or even come up with new ones to share. Also, in the future I hope that I'll do a great job on spreading the word on whatever topic I'm doing. Well that's all the time I got today. Bye!!! Hey guys! For this weeks fee blog i'll be talking to you about this cool movie trailer I watched recently. It was the a new ninja turtles movie called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Out Of Shadows. I feel this movie will be great because of when I watched the first one. I like the cool and amazing scenes they had in the first movie and the action parts too. It is interesting on what shots they used to make the action look more exiting and suspenseful. Not only do I like the amazing action, but I also love the funny joke that the Machaelanjelo, the orange ninja turtle, makes up randomly. Overall, the sequence of events and the script that this directer used is going to make this movie interesting and fun to watch. So, here is the movie trailer and I hope you go watch tis movie because I know I will! Bye! Hey guys! Today I'm going to talk to you about our second STN practice. Unfortunately, I will not be at the STN practice due to a team trip, but I will still talk to you about what I would want to improve on for this STN practice. Here are three things I want to improve on to make this STN practice better than the last.
The first thing I want to improve on this STN practice is filming. For example, I want to get a lot more shots of B-roll and interviews so that we can have at least more than enough material for us to have. That way, we won't be stressing that we don't have enough shots, and if a shot was blurry or audio was bad, then we could use another one. In addition, I want to get shots that will make the story more clear so that viewers get a better understanding of what's going on. Next, I want to improve my editing. I need to work on making it clear so that the viewers can have a better understanding of the subject. I need to put the interviews in place so it tells a more understandable story and it points out the main topic. Last but not least, I want to improve on managing my time. I want to start off with a plan or schedule on when I'm going to do what. For example, I want to make my own deadlines throughout the project so at the end we still have some extra time to improve it. In conclusion, these are three things I want to improve on my STN practice. Even though I'm not able to go, I think this blog will still be helpful for when I do the real STN. See ya later! Hey everyone! Today I'm gonna share with you a hilarious movie trailer called "Zootopia." I think this movie will be very funny because of the funny jokes they have in it. Also, this movie is interesting to me because it seems like it has a good storyline and good dialogue in it. But, best of all this movie has talking animals in it! That is cool because there is a scene where there are these super slow sloths who takes forever to do their job while this bunny cop was in a hurry. Anyways, here is the movie trailer for the movie "Zootopia" which will be coming soon in theaters in 2016. Enjoy! |
