What Makes Me Uncomfortable.

Hey guys!  Have you ever felt uncomfortable?  Well for today's blog, I'll be talking to you about what makes me uncomfortable the most and why.  Yeah, even this makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.  Bun anyways,  here is my three things that makes me uncomfortable.
So, the first thing that makes me uncomfortable is PUBLIC SPEECHES!!!  Ugh, they are the worst.  Some of you could probably relate to this, you know what I mean.  Speeches in front of people or doing presentations or just talking in front of a big crowd.  It's just makes me so weird and uncomfortable. I am not the person who would do these things.  It is probably just because I feel like I am gonna mess up at some point. Or, it is the feeling that everyone is looking at you.  So, that is why public speeches makes me uncomfortable.
Another thing that makes me feel uncomfortable is awkward conversations.  You know what I mean?  We all have those talks where we are talking and then suddenly there is an awkward silence.  Or also hen you stop talking because there is nothing to take about.  I don't know why this makes me uncomfortable but it just feels weird when this happens to me.  Now that this generation of kids all have electronics these days, we barley know how to have a good conversation.
Last but not least, I don't know if it is just me, but airplane seats are very uncomfortable.  Also, when you are squished in the backseat with others.  I don't know if this happens to you, but these are the things that make me uncomfortable in a more physical way.  I just feel so awkward and weird.
In conclusion, here is three of the many things that makes me feel uncomfortable.  Maybe these things might make you feel the same too.  But anyways, thanks for reading and I will see you next week.

New Quarter, New Goals!

Hey guys!  It is a new quarter here at our school and so that means we have new goals!  Today, I'll be talking to you about three big goals I have for this second quarter in this class and also how I plan to achieve my goals in this quarter too.  Here it is.
First of all, this is a very similar goal from last year and that is being a helpful partner.  I chose this to be another goal for the quarter because now I get to work with my new partner, Lukas!  Lukas is a great partner and is very friendly and helpful too.  This quarter, I am going to be a good partner by showing him everything he needs to know to make this second quarter project successful.  I will show him the steps to make it and also answer any of his questions that he has.
Next, I want to produce a really well made second quarter project.  From our last quarter project, Kai and I got accepted into Hiki No for our Rocket Strong video.  That was a cool experience because I got to gather so feedback from them and see what they think would be a well made video.  So, I will take their advice and use it in my new second quarter video.
Finally, my last goal for the quarter is too have more than one draft for my projects in this quarter.  I want to have more than one draft so that I can have more feedback from my teacher and other students.  I will do this by turning in an early rough draft so that I can make multiple drafts after that.
In conclusion, here are three of the goals I have for this quarter and also how I plan to achieve them too.  This quarter, I hope that I do my best in all the projects I do and also produce quality work as well.

Hey guys!  For this week's free blog, I'll be talking to you about a very funny and interesting short film called," Competition."  Staring in this short film is two minions from the Dispicible Me movie.  Do you know how people throw crumbled paper into a trashcan like they are a basketball player?  Well, these to minions are just having a normal day until, one of them throws a paper into a trash can and makes it.  The other minion gets jelous and does the same.  Next thing you know, they are in a competition.  But, this is no ordinary competition, next, they start fighting like a wrestling match, then they start doing thumb wrestles, and next thing you know, they are in a race.  But, in the video at the end they end up being friends again.  So, if you are reading this I highly suggest you watch this because it is really funny.  Enjoy.

First Quarter Reflection

Hey guys!  Can you believe it's Fall Break already?!  This first quarter has gone by so fast.  For our last blog of the quarter, I am going to do a reflection on the quarter and tell you three things I learned.  Being a mentor for the first year was a little tough, but I think it as a good way to help me be more focused and helped me to take lead in this class.  So, here are three things I learned.
First, I got to meet and learn about new friends I made this new school year.  I got to learn more about the new students and a little bit about themselves.  I got to make new friends who were Evan, Ty, Natalie, Lukas, Kate, Asia, Shayne, Rayden, and Keith who were the new sixth graders, and also Asa, Amber, Taylor M., and Jasmine who are also new to the class.
Next, I got to learn what it was like being a mentor.  This year was my first year being a mentor and I was very curious of what it would be like.  This year, I know that I have to help out my partner and guide him to be successful.  Also, it is my fault most of the time if we did something wrong.  But, I think this first quarter was pretty good because working with Lukas for the inside scoops, Advisory Game, and other things, I got to have an idea of what it is like taking the lead.  Now, I know what I have to do for our second quarter project.
Finally, this first quarter I got to learn more about taking pictures.  In my first year in media, we didn't do that much training on taking pictures but this year we got to learn more about taking pictures from Mr. M.  He taught us about the camera's aperture, which is the amount of light that it lets in the camera.  We got to do this cool activity in the Koke'e camp where we did glow stick drawings to practice and test the aperture.
In conclusion, here are three things I learned this first quarter.  It has been a really good first quarter and I have learned some more new things from it.  So, that is all the time I got.  I'll see you guys later!

Personal Profile

Hey guys!  For this week's free blog I'll be talking to you about our new projects on personal profiles.  Our personal profile projects is where my partner and I choose a teacher at our school so we could do a profile on them.  We have an interview with them just to get to know them a little better. So, for this project I think we are on schedule and doing great.  Here is why.
First off, the reason why I think my partner, Kai, and I are on schedule is because we did a great job not procrastinating.  For example, we knew when we had to get our interviews done by so we got it done as early as possible.  The teacher we interviewed was Mr. Sasan.  We asked if we could do the project on him, he said yes, then we did the interview as soon as possible.  I think we were either the second or third to get our interview finished.
Also adding to why we are on schedule,  I already have finished most of the transcriptions.  When I go back to school tomorrow, I think I just need to finish one more question.
Now, what's our next steps?  So, my partner, Kai, and I are planning to film our b-roll for the project too.  I did ask Mr. Sasan when's a good time but he didn't know because he thinks he will have a subsitute on some days this week.   Also, once we have finished the b-roll I am planning to start editing as soon as possible.
In conclusion, here is my update on my personal profile project.  According to our schedule, I think we are on time and If we keep working like this, then we could finish this on time.  Well, that's all the time I have for today.  See you guys next time.
