Hey guys! For this week's free blog, Ill be talking to you about a super cool trailer of the upcoming movie in November called,"Moana." It's a new Disney movie about a girl name Moana. I am so excited to see this movie because it's a hawaiian movie. That's right, this movie takes place back in old Hawaii. So, this story is about a girl named Moana and her adventures with this god named Maui. These two go sailing the ocean to save their people and their land. Since I live in Hawaii, I can't wait to see this movie in theaters because the movie is a hawaiian movie. There hasn't been much movies like this since the movie,"Liilo and Stitch," which is another hawaiian movie. So, here is the trailer and I hope you enjoy!
Hey guys! Welcome back to my blogs! This week we are lucky and we only need to do one blog! That's because of one of the most famous holiday where you are giving thanks and eating turkeys! Yup, Thanksgiving is here! Ask yourself, what are you thankful for? Well today, I will tell you three of the many things I am thankful for and why. Here it is.
First of all, I all, I am thankful for the things I really need in life. Not an iPhone, or a TV, butI am thankful for food, water, and a home. These things are pretty much needed in your life or you die. And, the reason why I am very thankful for it is because there are many many people in the world who don't have the food and water like us. They don't have homes to live in or food to eat. So that's why, I am always thankful for it.
Another really big thing that I am thankful for everyday is my friends and family. I am thankful for the people who love and care for me. You know, having people who care for you is one of the best things in the world. They make you laugh, they got your back, and they also turn you frowns upside down when your feeling sad. Your friends and family mostly make up who you are, and I am thankful for them.
Last but definitely not least, I never really thought bout this before but I am really thankful to live in Hawaii. Especially Kauai. Yeah, you might have not expected me to say this but I am very thankful to live on such a beautiful island. Kauai is awesome because it's almost like your living in paradise. Just look around Kauai. There is so much friendly people, barely any crimes, almost everyday there is beautiful weather and there are just so many beautiful places to see here.
In conclusion, there are many many things to be thankful for in my life, but here is three of the many things I am grateful for everyday. So, since it's Thanksgiving, ask yourself, what are you thankful for. Well, that's all the time I got for you guys. Have an awesome Thanksgiving.
Hey guys! Last weekend my CKTV class and I had our CKTV Ohana Camp. That's where our class got the chance to go up to Koke'e to do bonding activities and also some media training. It's a really fun camp we do every year. So, here is my reflection on this camp.
First off, what I enjoyed the most about this camp was the Kickball and tug-of-war game. If you don't know I'm a really competitive guy. But when we played these games, I realized how awesome it was to be bonding with my class. I thought it's not about winning, but it's also to have fun. I had so much fun playing with and against my other classmates. It was cool to see everyone participating and enjoying themselves.
Next, the bonding. Like I said, this camp was also to bond with one another. That is the main reason why we have this camp. Every year, the camp's theme is, "Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten." I think this year was a great example of that. It was awesome to see everyone bond with each other. For example, the returnees would talk to the new students, and the new students would talk to the returnees. No one was alone on this camp. That's why I think that is cool to see.
Finally, what I was impacted the most on. During this camp, we got to do some photography training with the cameras, like how to change the settings for different situations. But, I think what I was impacted the most from this class was my social skills. I improved on starting conversations with other people instead of just going on a phone. It was awesome to talk to the newbies and also the returnees. I loved that I got to make new friends on this camp. That's why I am thankful I improved on that.
In conclusion, that is my reflection on this camp. I am thankful we had the chance to have this camp too. I enjoyed the fun activities and also I enjoyed the bonding that came along with it. From this camp, I got to meet new cool friends and also I had a blast. I hope to have these kinds of activities in the future.
Hey guys! For this week's free blog I'll be talking to you about a cool video about a brand new documentary about our CKTV class in STN! Last March, our class and I were up in Atlanta for our STN Convention. But, Nikki, from Hiki No came along and filmed us for a documentary! It was cool seeing us on television to see how awesome it was being their. Last Wednesday, all the students who went to the STN Convention came to Mr. M's house to watch it! I really enjoyed watching the final product and the cool film that Nikki and the Hiki No people produced. We were very thankful and happy that they made that documentary and it was just so cool to watch it. But, I highly suggest you guys go watch it. I here is the trailer of the documentary. Enjoy!
Hey guys! Welcome back to my blogs! It's been a while since I've done a five paragraph blog, but let's just get right to it! So, this week Mr. M asked us to be a little more creative this week and think of your own vehicle you would like to ride in, where you want it to take you, and why. So, here it is.
So, my vehicle might sound a little strange but stay with me. So, it is my own private jet! But this is no ordinary jet, this jet has more to it. Inside the jet there's lots of stuff! It's a really big jet that has a pool in it and free internet wi-fi to play on my PS4. I would own this jet and It could take me all over the world. Although this might sound crazy and I don't even have the money to get it, that is my dream vehicle and it would be pretty cool to have it.
Next, where I'd like to go? If you don't know me, I really, really love traveling. I traveled to many places in the mainland but I never got the chance to go out of country. I'd love to go to lots of places around the world but there is one place I'd love to go. That place is Japan.
I don't really know why but for some reason I've really wanted to go to Japan. Last summer my mom and my sister were up in Japan and I kinda was jealous. I just really want to see the culture.
In conclusion, that was my dream vehicle and where I'd like it to take me. One day in the future maybe this will happen. But that's all the time I got. I'll see you guys later and thanks for reading!
